2019 Summary of Achievements and Spotlights

目標達成情形摘要及亮點

  本校執行TSU高教深耕計畫的總體推動目標為「發展多元特色,培育優質人才」、「落實教學創新,提升教學品質」、「提升重要公共議題之關懷與協助」、「強化大學社會責任之付出與實踐」、「深化學校特色,提升優質的國際形象」。據此,完成第一階段(107~108年度)計畫執行與成果檢核,確認所有預定之各項績效指標的達成率為100%。

  就「全校整體發展」面向而言,具體成果包括強化學生學習自信與學習成效、提升學生全方位多元學習、深化休閒專業人才培育成果、建立一系一特色之發展成果、建置適合多元文化之友善校園、強化社區互動與國際交流等。就「落實教學創新及提升教學品質」面向而言,具體成果包括建立學生學習特質分析與學生學習成效分析機制;激勵教師進行創新教學改革,持續推動Lesson Study社群研究與PBL教學之實踐並明顯提升學生學習成效與滿意度;強化本校學生實習制度之落實,提升學生參與專業實習人數等。就「發展學校特色」面向而言,具體成果包括強化本校特色人才之培育機制、增加學生參與特色人才培育之意願並提升參與特色人才培育之人數等。就「提升高教公共性」面向而言,具體成果包括整合現有校內外輔導資源與機制,提升弱勢學生參與就學輔導人數;強化對原民生輔導機制,增進師生同仁對於原住民族文化的了解,以營造多元族群友善校園。建立本校校務資訊公開平臺,配合教育部政策及計畫推動重點定期公告等。就「善盡社會責任」面向而言,具體成果包括推展「麻豆學」協作實踐方案,舉辦研討活動並完成紀錄作品;提升師生參與社區文化或志工,增加實際參與行動貢獻人數與實踐計畫等。就「政策配合事項」面向而言,具體成果包括將重要教育議題進行宣導、研討與納入教學課程;加強班級導師平時關心與輔導工作與建立互助與關懷之友善校園,激勵學生安心就學與向心力;生師比數據完全符合教育部規定,強化對於學生學習與輔導工作之重視與關心等。

  除前述成效之外,本校在高教深耕計畫第一階段之執行成果中產生了不少亮點,列舉如下:

(1)激勵師生發揮專業素養及實務能力,分別參加2019韓國世界美食挑戰賽(KWFC)、2019第三屆國際青年創意美學競賽、2019香港國際美食大獎、2019國際婚禮文化創意藝術大賽等競賽活動而屢獲優異成績。

(2)倡導以學習共同體為核心之教學創新模式,推動以PBL問題導向學習為核心之學習共同體發展模式,並舉辦「2018世紀大師創新教學講座-Lesson Study」,吸引18所各級學校師生三百餘人觀摩學習。

(3)成功搭建國際人才培育機會,與日本姐妺校東京TAIKEN學園進行國際人才培育合作,並已陸續促成5位學生在日本順利就業。

 

Summary of Achievements and Spotlights

Achievements:

    Our Higher Education Sprout Project goals (HESP) includes: (1) Development of multi-features and training outstanding students; (2) Fulfillment of teaching innovation and promotion of teaching quality; (3) Care and assistance of public issues; (4) Enhancement of university’s responsibility to the society; (5) Deepen the university’s characteristic and promote high quality image. We had completed the first year’ stage goal of HESP through the executions and confirmation of all planned targets. The followings are some accomplishments through the aid of HESP funding:

    In the “university development” aspect, specific results include: enhancement of students learning confidence and learning achievements, promotion of multi-dimensional learning, training leisure industrial professionals, strengthen the characteristics of each department, establishment of multi-cultural friendly environment, and elevation of community and international exchange. In the “teaching innovation and promotion of teaching quality” aspect, specific results include: establishment of the analytical mechanism of evaluations of students, learning patterns and academics; encouragement of teachers’ teaching innovation which induces: promotion of “lesson study” community and using PBL (problem-based learning) to promote students ‘learning achievements and satisfaction; fulfillment of internship regulations and increase of internship participation. In the “development of university characteristics” aspect, specific results include: integration of campus and off-campus assisting resources, promotion of disadvantaged students’ job enrollment; strengthening aboriginal students’ counseling and assistance; establishment of information exchange platform to disclose education policies released from Ministry of Education. In the “social responsibility” aspect, specific results includes “promotion of “Madou Township history study” which includes regularly holding symposiums and recording the demonstrations and presentation stuff; encouragement of faculty, staff and students’ involvement in voluntary communities’ service work. In the “policy cooperation” aspect, specific results includes : propaganda of important educational issues and integrate into teaching; enhancement of class advisor’s caring and assisting for students to build friendly campus atmosphere; inspirations of students’ centrality; fulfillment of teacher-student ratio requirement regulated by Ministry of Education; strengthen of students’ learning and assistance.

Spotlights:

    Through the project, we had been able to elevate students into the international levels. Here are some outstanding performances through the aid of the first stage HESP project:

(1)Inspirations of teachers and students: Teachers and students are promoted and better trained. We had good performance in attending international competitions in several areas, such as: 2019 KOREA WORLD FOOD CHAMPIONSHIPS awards; 2019 The Third International Creative Aesthetics Competition and Workshop awards; 2019 Hong Kong International Culinary Classic awards; 2019International Wedding Culture Creative Art Competition awards.

(2)Promotion of the problem-based learning (PBL) model: Hosting 2018 Teaching Innovation Masters Symposium-Lesson Study, this recruited over 300 people from 18 schools.

(3)Promotion of international exchange: We had cooperated with Taiken Academics, Tokyo, Japan for student exchanges and also assisted five students hired in Japan.
